Why Little Chestnut's

At Little Chestnuts Pre-School we pride ourselves in working with our local community to support children’s development and learning.

Children start to learn about the world around them from the moment they are born. The care and education offered by our setting helps children to continue to do this by providing all of the children with interesting activities that are appropriate for their age and stage of development.

Little Chestnut's therefore offer a range of activities:

Diddi Dance - Since 2018 Little Chestnut's children (and staff!) have been taught a different style of dance each term and learnt songs which included counting to ten in French and Spanish. Available to all Children, including those outside of our setting

SEND Offer (part of our SEND Policy)
We are passionate about supporting children's development including those with special needs. We have a dedicated SENCO key person practitioner and work in partnership with parents through designing a specific learning plan. All our staff are experienced practitioners and have undertaken paediatric first aid and safeguarding courses.
